About Us

A group of dedicated and keen swimmers started as AUSSI Masters Swimming Club – Armadale and the inaugural meeting was in December 1984. The AUSSI stood for Australian Union of Senior Swimmers International. AUSSI has now been dropped by Masters Swimming Australia and we are now known as Armadale Masters Swimming Club. The motto in Masters Swimming is Fitness, Friendship and Fun and looking through the archives it is evident that the members have lived up to that motto.

We owe much to those dedicated members who started the club and to those who have come after who have kept the club going in the spirit that it was intended and maintained today.
